And I think it sounds great. Great as in ready to compete in sound quality or SPL competitions, no. But it serves it's purpose untill I can do my custom install this winter. It will be clearer than the stock deck, and slightly louder. However, I still have difficulty hearing it with the t-tops off on the highway. If you were to get a sub, and run the stock speakers from 100 Hz or so up, you would get more SPL. Once you eliminate the low frequencies being sent to the 4.5" speakers, you allow them to put all their output into the midrange and highs. Use the part PLEAZURE in CA (SD). I didn't and had an extra 20 connections I had to make. That one is plug and play. Use crimps for 16-22 AWG wire (Radio Shack) or wire nuts and you'll be done in no time. The guy at Best Buy is an ass clown, much like Carlos. As a matter of fact, I wouldn't be suprised if they were related. Install the converter to the HU, then plug it in. Don't install it into the dash yet. From there, you will need a small screwdriver (slotted) to adjust the levels of each channel. I suggest getting a pink noise track (I can email you one if you need it) and tuning with that. You can set the levels for all four corners. I set my HU to Volume 20 and adjusted the converter to give me max volume prior to distortion at that signal level. Once you have that all set, install into the dash and enjoy.
